    One word. DELICIOUS.

Staff is friendly, service is pretty quick, and they have many rolls I had never tried or even seen at other places.

One of my favorite sushi or Japanese restaurants in Stockton. I come here at least once every two months.

The owner JJ is super friendly and he'll remember you.

The exceptional service and the consistent quality has kept me returning whenever I crave sushi rolls. My usual rolls that I always order are the crunchy scallop roll and the red dragon roll. They have a special menu that includes a Joena roll and the JJ special roll - I occasionally order these two as well!

Very casual dinning, plenty of seating, good lighting, and friendly employees and owner. They do takeout orders as well. No issues with parking in the area. You need to try this place!

Came here with a friend to have a nice evening out, but got ruined by the complete incompetence of this restaurant's staff. My friend is very allergic to capsaicin, the chemical that makes peppers spicy. We ordered 4 rolls, 2 that had spicy sauce and one with spicy tuna. We asked for NO spicy sauce and NO spicy tuna in the rolls. When my friend took a bite of one roll, it was hot. Very hot. You could see where they had just WIPED THE SAUCE OFF. She alerted them calmly that it was spicy. The chef proceeded to argue with her, saying no, it isn't spicy. This, along with the anxiety of the already-starting allergic reaction, made her massively angry and the chef continued to blame US for the food being spicy. We asked for EVERYTHING to be made non-spicy.
I'd also like to note that the grilled squid was very over-cooked AND ruined. You don't DROWN squid in black pepper and cumin. The croquettes were lacking in flavor, though they were the better part of the meal. What little sushi I tasted was a disappointing marriage in flavors that should have filed for divorce years ago. Needless to say their heavy-handed dependency on spicy seasonings is merely to mask the fact that they have lack-lustre flavors that aren't worth a quarter of the price. And the service is even worse.
Note to those with food allergies, AVOID THIS SAD EXCUSE OF A RESTAURANT.

Ate here tonight with my family of 4. I felt the service was efficient, fast, friendly, and courteous. The man came out to check on every table. Many people were working quickly to reach each table. There were a lot of people--you can tell many frequent this place often. Kids had miso soup, gyoza, and Cali Rolls; husband & I had Green Dragon and 2 Bonsai Rolls. He had beer & sake, too. I had hot tea, which only came out by the cup.  The food was tasty. The place was smaller than I expected at first. Overall, I liked it.

My boyfriend and I were in town and craving sushi and saw the great reviews for this spot so we decided to taste it ourselves.

He ordered the lunch bento which he throughly enjoyed. I thought it was a great portion for $9.95 too. I had the volcano roll which was different from the ones I usually order and surprisingly enjoyed it. The red dragon was pretty standard, nothing really special about it. The fish did taste fresh though and the service was pretty quick. The man who took our order was very attentive and nice.

I personally don't understand why people are raving about this place when it's nothing out of the ordinary. Good service, food is fresh and restaurant is clean.
